Who We Are
The Dyer County Rescue Squad is a Tennessee State chartered, non–profit, emergency service organization. We are also recognized as a tax exempt organization under section 50l(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code. Our primary response area encompasses all of Dyer County. Our Squad is an Active Member of the Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads.
What We Do
The Dyer County Rescue Squad assist with scenes such as but not limited to: search and rescue, vehicle rescue and extrication, water rescue and recovery. Squad members also provide disaster relief and support operations of the surrounding counties and the following organizations: Dyer County Emergency Medical Services, Dyer County Emergency Management Agency, Dyer County Sheriff’s Department, Dyer County Fire Departments, City of Newbern Police, City of Newbern Fire Department, City of Trimble Fire Department, City of Trimble Police, Tennessee Highway Patrol and Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads.
Our Vision
Our vision is to provide coordinated multi-agency teamwork and response to the citizens of Dyer County and residents of the State of Tennessee. We are sworn to protect their lives and regard it as an honor to do so. We value our mission, vision and goals. We also value the same from other emergency service agencies. We value your life and the life of others.
